      <description><![CDATA[<p>We are moving back to the larger space at The Dojo for our Wednesday sessions, which have become slightly unmanageable at the Blackburne Terrace zendo.</p>
<p>This takes effect from Wednesday 8 August until further notice, but please note this <strong>only</strong> effects the Wednesday evening sessions - all other meetings will still be held at Blackburne Terrace, and the zendo there has moved to the first floor.</p>]]></description>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>With the move back to The Dojo on Wednesday evenings, we're taking the opportunity to extend the intro sessions that we run for first-time attenders.  The intro sessions will still be on the second and fourth Wednesday evenings of the month, but you are asked to arrive by 6.40pm.  The session has been extended to run for approx. 45 minutes, after which beginners will join the rest of the group for the second sitting, the service and dharma talk.</p>]]></description>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>The June <a href="http://www.liverpool-zen.org.uk/events-zkai.html">Zazenkai</a> will be on the theme of "Reflection on  the Three Pure Precepts in daily life and practice".  The Three Pure Precepts, which are taken along with the Three Refuges and the Ten Grave Precepts during the Jukai ceremony, but the import of these three precepts extends throughout our lives and our practice.</p>
<p>The Three Pure Precepts are:</p>
<blockquote>Do not commit evil<br />
	Do good<br />
	Do good for others</blockquote>
<p>This Zazenkai will be lead by John Kenworthy and Alasdair Gordon-Finlayson.  If you are thinking of attending, please email Paul Evans (<a href="mailto:paul.evans@liverpool-zen.org.uk">paul.evans@liverpool-zen.org.uk</a>) to register.</p>

<p>We'll be going over all aspects of form and ritual to give people a chance to learn the correct way to do things in the zendo during zazen and during service.</p>
<p>There are no costs associated with this event - if you are able to, you are strongly encouraged to attend. This applies to both relatively newer as well as more experienced practitioners. Please try to arrive at 6.30 sharp (no need for robes etc, not a dress rehearsal!).</p>]]></description>
