LZG Library
The Liverpool Zen Group maintains a small lending library of books related to Zen and / or Buddhism.
Use of the library is limited to regular members of the Liverpool Zen Group who have also filled out the LZG library membership form, available both at the zendo and as a PDF download below. Library members can take two books out at a time, for four weeks, for free. Late returns - see the Terms & Conditions below - are subject to a 50p per week fine to a maximum of £3.00. All funds go towards buying new library stock.
Almost all library stock has been donated by Zen Group members, and we would like to continue this as our primary way of getting new items. If you would like to donate any items - books or other media - please see Alasdair or any of the senior students before the start of Wednesday sitting... and thanks!
Catalogue
The definitive catalogue is held in the sangha room, downstairs at the Zen centre. However, you can also look at our online catalogue at LibraryThing (see link below). The LibraryThing catalogue may not be entirely up to date, and there might be books missing that are still listed.
